Saied Urges Fighting Corruption in State Lands

Tunisian President Kais Saied stressed at a meeting Monday with Minister of State Property and Land Affairs Mohamed Rekik the need to preserve state lands and to lease them to unemployed young people.

He spoke about the issue of granting state lands to people belonging to political parties, through contracts concluded at low prices, in return for bribes.

The head of state called for ending all attempts to plunder public property, fighting against monopoly practices, embezzlement and corruption and recovering the property of the state, saying no person and no party or organization is above the law.
