Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah offered his condolences over the tragedy of the Tripoli Sea in northwestern Lebanon, stressing that Hezbollah would not allow any country to make sedition in Lebanon.
“We demand a speedy investigation in order to find the responsible people for this tragedy to prevent repetition of such incidents,” Hezbollah Secretary-General said in a televised address on Sunday night on the occasion of the 23rd night of Ramadan and the Laylat al-Qadr ceremony.
Hezbollah had issued on Sunday a statement in which it expressed deep sorrow over the tragic catastrophe in the city of Tripoli, offering the warmest condolences to the victims’ families and all the Tripoli locals.
Hezbollah, in its statement, considered that what happened is a tragic manifestation of the socioeconomic crisis which has resulted from long decades of following wrong policies, neglecting the people needs, and depriving citizens of their rights.
The Resistance Party called for a quick, transparent, impartial and fair judicial investigation into the accident in order to disclose the truth of what happened and all the culprits, including the human traffickers, smugglers and all the concerned officials.
