Security Committee for Elections: The plan to secure the electoral process went smoothly

Head of the Security Committee for Elections, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, announced that the plan to secure the electoral process went smoothly, noting that “more than 200 violators of the electoral process were arrested.”

Al-Shammari said in a press conference today, Monday, that “the plan to secure the electoral process did not witness any armed manifestations.”

He said that all the units involved in securing the elections are effective units working around the clock.

He added “We have a clear assessment of each governorate and its departments, as a flexible plan was prepared, accompanied by security measures in coordination with all intelligence services and citizens.”
