The second phase of the Lebanese 2022 parliamentary elections continues abroad, as polling stations opened their doors to voters today, Sunday, in the British capital, London, at 09:00 am Beirut time.
The vicinity of the Lebanese embassy in London was crowded with masses of Lebanese voters.
It is noteworthy that in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland the number of voters is 6535, distributed among 3 polling stations and 15 polling centers.
Lebanon’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Rami Mortada, hoped for a massive turnout in Lebanon’s parliamentary elections,
The voting consolidates one of the principles of democracy as citizens participate in making the political future of their country, especially in these circumstances,” Mortada told Unews Press Agency.
Mortada, said that “the ministry has allocated nine centers at the polling station inside the embassy, four at the Harward Centre, two in Manchester and one in Dublin.”
