The second day of the Vienna negotiations ended on Friday with the meeting between Ali Bagheri Kani, Iran’s chief negotiator, and Enrique Mora, deputy secretary general of the European External Action Service and the coordinator of the JCPOA negotiations, at the Coburg Hotel in Vienna.

The deputy secretary general of the European External Action Service and the coordinator of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) negotiations Enrique Mora said that he was optimistic about JCPOA revival negations and rejected the 72-hour deadline for the conclusion of the JCPOA negotiations.

Before this meeting, Mora talked with Mikhail Ulyanov, the representative of Russia in the JCPOA revival negotiations, and then on Friday night, he came outside the Coburg Hotel building in Vienna for a short break and in response to reporters’ questions about the negotiation process, he said that he is optimistic about the JCPOA revival negotiations.

In response to the question that some sources have spoken of a 72-hour deadline for the conclusion of the JCPOA negotiations, the deputy in charge of the European Union’s foreign policy stated that he saw this news in Bloomberg and he does not know who said this.
